I spent this morning soaking up inspiration at Art in the Burbs, a fundraiser for the Tigard-Tualatin school district. At least 3 Sherwoodians showed their art there - mosaic artist Charity Stewart, potter Linda Bourne, and phototgraher Mike Whitson. I hope you will all keep an eye on the calendar on the SFA website and shop our local artists for all your holiday gift-giving!

Today is the second Sunday of the month and that means the Sherwood Artists Guild! You never know what you'll see or learn there - but I guarantee it will be fun. Maybe Sharon will share some secrets of her copper work, or Darla will teach you the best brush to use to paint a tree. Shelby might be there making jewelry and I know I'll be there mass-producing bookmarks for an Odgepodge event. Maybe you'll share your techniques with someone else over tea and cookies. This is an informal group so come as you are - painterly clothing is pretty normal for us. Rebekah Hall 5:30-7:30. -- Lori

Local Talent
